Searching orders

ABC Digital Downloads adds each new order from your store to Orders automatically. Search, filter and sort the list to find the order you need.

Search for an order

  1. In ABC, click Orders.
  2. Click the Search and filter results button above the list.
  3. Type a customer name, customer email, order number, product name or file name.

Filter the list

Click Add filter and choose a filter:

  • Payment Status: Paid, Authorized, Expired, Partially Paid, Partially Refunded, Pending, Refunded or Voided.
  • Attached Files: Has Files or No Files, for orders with or without connected files.
  • Customer Email: No email address set finds orders from customers who didn't give an email address, for example because they checked out with a phone number.
  • Order Date: Today, the last 7, 30, 90 or 120 days, or Custom, with Starting and Ending dates.

To find a customer's orders by email address, type the address in the search box. The Customer Email filter only finds orders without an email address.

💡 Tip: Customers can check out with only a phone number if your checkout allows it. To require an email address, go to Settings > Checkout in your Shopify admin and, under Customer contact method, choose Email.

Sort the list

Click the sort button and choose Date Created (the default, newest first), Email sent or Customer. Each can be sorted either way; Customer sorts by first name.
